HAPE'

Hapé is a cleansing tobacco snuff used by Amazonian shamans during medicinal rituals.

Hapé is conventionally used in a therapeutic fashion to sharpen the mind, clear bad energies prior to intention setting, detoxifying the body and mind, clearing one's energetic field, to combat colds and respiratory ailments, provide a lasting calming and grounding effect and to help soothe the symptoms of various mental illnesses.

In a Hapé sit we will cover a comprehensive discussion around the origin of hape'. You will learn various methods of working with hapé as an individual as well as serving others with various pipes—copper, monkey bone, glass and bamboo. Along with working with different pipes, we discuss specific hapé blows for intentions one might have in using this sacred medicine. We also discuss the various tribes making hapé blends and the sacred purpose of using hapé in meditation.

I source all my hapé from trusted medicine keepers and tribal members. I also know who is growing the ingredients, the conditions of the soil and the land and the quality of the additional ingredients used in various blends I source. In addition to the tobacco, hapé can be blended with the ashes of other plants such as cinnamon, clover, banana peel or mint. I purchase directly from and have a sacred relationship with each source.

Everyone receives a sample of hapé for personal, upfront growth and connection. The option to purchase larger quantities and/or pipes is also available.

SANANGA

Sananga is a powerful eye medicine traditionally used in the jungle to improve night vision and is often used today for spiritual healing.  It is made by mashing the roots of a bushy jungle plant (Kanapa Vêtxexeni ) with clean water.

Due to its antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, Sangana is conventionally used to treat a number of eye related health conditions and can increased visual senses and relieve the symptoms of glaucoma, cataracts, farsightedness, nearsightedness, astigmatism and blindness.

It is also often used to treat spiritual diseases, or “panema” and is used to achieve deeper meditative processes, in resetting the energetic field, detoxifying the body and clearing of deep-rooted inner anger.

In a Sananga session we include a series of breath work to support further cleansing of the eyes and your energetic body. The breath work I teach will support the release of stress and allow one to shift into a deep meditative state of being. I also perform sound therapy with crystal sound bowls, chimes, rattles, drumming and other instruments to move energy throughout your body as per your needs.
